Light Tape® is the brightest, longest, widest and most flexible electroluminescent lamp in the world. Available in almost any length, from thin strips to wide panels, Light Tape® is the thinnest and most versatile light source available, perfectly suited to an array of applications. Electroluminescence (EL) is the conversion of electrical energy into light by the activation of a phosphor layer by an alternating current. In other words, when the low electrical current passes though the phosphors, they become excited and vibrate producing light.
Our systems consist of:
1) Light Tape® EL Lamps
2) Smart Driver™ Power Supply
3) Interconnecting Electric Wires between the Lamp and the Power Supply.
4) We also offer other accessories to suit specific application requirements, such as housings, adhesives and protective overlays.
We do most of the work for you in our US manufacturing headquarters. Light Tape® can be ordered in widths of 1/2″ to 24″, you specify the length. We ship it to your doorstep preconnected and ready to install. For interior applications, all you need is a bit of double sided adhesive – the install takes minutes. There is no worry about uneven lighting or diffusion. Imagine a material like tape that illuminates, and comes in a long roll – that’s Light Tape®. Also, one power supply can illuminate multiple Light Tape® strips or panels, also reducing the electrical needs.
