Direct View Illumination
Light Tape® lamps make direct-view illumination possible. Our proprietary electroluminescent light source does not produce a glare or create light pollution.
SG 45
The SG 45 is our most popular nosing product! It features one Light Tape® at a 45–degree angle on the front edge. The step lighting is only visible when someone is walking up the steps. Guests will not be distracted by the step lights while seated. On the way down, each step illuminates, as if they were being turned on just for you!
SG Classic OT
Our StepGuard™ Classic offers the option for an up-light and down-light position at the same time. This classic series design uses the top track for Light Tape® on top illumination.
SG Retro OT
Like the Classic OT, the Retro OT uses just the top track for Light Tape® location. The Retro Design is perfect for older cinema refurbishments or plush carpet venues.

SG MAX DL
The SG MAX DL is our flagship immersive solution designed with the ultimate immersive experience in mind for a visionary customer. Heavily influenced by IMAX’s top lighting designer, this option eliminates all direct-view lighting. The MAX Immersive creates an even glow at the base of each step for navigation with a gray insert on the 45-degree nose for minimal contrast as you ascend.
SG Classic DL
Our StepGuard™ Classic DL offers an up-light and down-light position at the same time. This Classic series design uses the bottom track for Light Tape® down low illumination.
Dual Illumination
Discover double the lights and double the safety with our StepGuard™ Dual Illumination nosings. Utilizing our proprietary Light Tape® lamps on both the upward and downward facing angles, you get the best of both worlds with no-glare direct view illumination and a glow on the stair tread.
SG MAX Duo
Designed with the MAX Immersive experience in mind, we added another Light Tape® lamp to the 45-degree track to delineate the step edge and add to the downlight glow. This light is only visible when standing and walking down the stairs, each one turns on for you.
SG Classic Duo
The Classic Duo is the standard for dual illumination. Our classic series profile is based on a traditional design where the light source was never pointed towards the screen for fear of glare. Historically the standard design was for only up and down illumination.
SG Retro Duo
The Retro Duo utilizes two Light Tape® lamps, one on the nose, the other in the down position. This design is perfect for older cinema refurbishments or plush carpet venues.
Life Safety Stair Nosings
The Life Safety Stair Nosings feature all of the great things our Immersive Experience system has to offer with LEDs added. Our StepGuard™ systems are built to be the perfect balance of design and safety. When safety codes call for LED illumination, our Life Safety systems are the perfect option!
SG MAX Life Safety
The MAX Life Safety design will help to eliminate the light cast forward with the aluminum internal light guide. You will not be able to see the light source while seated.
SG MAX Duo Life Safety
The MAX Duo Life Safety is similar to the MAX Duo, but we swapped the Light Tape® lamp on the down-light position and went with a High Bright LED for extra brightness on the step. The LEDs create a wash on each step, adding another level of safety.
SG Classic Life Safety
The Classic Life Safety system uses the lighting channel on the bottom of the profile to hold high bright LEDs. The top channel is filled with an anti-slip rubber insert.
SG Classic Duo Life Safety
Our StepGuard™ Classic Duo uses Light Tape® for the up-light and LEDs for the down-light position. The LED location concentrates the light onto the step without the patron seeing the light source.
SG Retro Life Safety
The Retro Life Safety utilizes a high bright LED in the down-light position to cast illumination along the stair tread without shining light on screens or projectors. This design is perfect for older cinema refurbishments or plush carpet venues.
SG Retro Duo Life Safety
The Retro Duo HB utilizes Light Tape® on the nose and a high bright LED in the down-light position. This design is perfect for older cinema refurbishments or plush carpet venues.

WallGuide OT
The StepGuard™ WallGuide with Light Tape® on top offers no-glare navigation illumination – follow the glowing line. All the guest needs to do is follow the glowing line.
WallGuide DL
The StepGuard™ WallGuide with Light Tape® downlight offers the perfect amount of light for navigation while preserving an immersive environment.
WallGuide Duo
The StepGuard™ WallGuide Duo system has one Light Tape® lamp in the bottom slot to provide a long continuous illuminated line to follow as a guide into a venue and a Light Tape® lamp top light for a visible guideline.
WallGuide DL Life Safety
The StepGuard™ WallGuide DL Life Safety system is designed to be mounted on the wall to provide navigation illumination for entranceways and stairs. The system has the ability for direct view and immersive illumination. This product is ideal for public or government facilities that require high brightness in entrances and hallways.
WallGuide Duo Life Safety
The StepGuard™ WallGuide Duo Life Safety system is similar to the WallGuide DL Life Safe System and it includes Light Tape® on top for a visible guideline, without fear of glare.
Aisle Illumination
