SG 45
The SG 45 is our most popular nosing product! It features one Light Tape® at a 45–degree angle on the front edge. The step lighting is only visible when someone is walking up the steps. Guests will not be distracted by the step lights while seated. On the way down, each step illuminates, as if they were being turned on just for you!
SG 30
The SG30 (or StepGuard 30) is a specialized stair nosing profile manufactured by Light Tape that features a single continuous line of light positioned at a 30-degree angle flush with the step’s nose

SG Max Immersive
The Max Immersive is our flagship immersive solution designed with the ultimate immersive experience in mind for a visionary customer. Light Tape is used in this profile to guide the light toward the landing of the step. Because Light Tape is not as bright as traditional LEDs the light is pointed more toward the landing of the step highlighting it clearly, but not so bright as to distract from the movie or show. Heavily influenced by IMAX’s top lighting designer, this option eliminates all direct-view lighting. The MAX Immersive creates an even glow at the base of each step for navigation with a gray insert on the 45-degree nose for minimal contrast as you ascend.
Duo Illumination
Discover double the lights and double the safety with our StepGuard™ Dual Illumination nosings. Utilizing our proprietary Light Tape® lamps on both the upward and downward facing angles, you get the best of both worlds with no-glare direct view illumination and a glow on the stair tread.
Climax Duo
Our most popular dual illumination model. This profile features a top light to guide your foot going up or down steps, as well as a down light that highlights the step landing to ease foot placement.
Climax Duo Stadium
The Climax Duo Stadium is a streamlined step lighting product that incorporates LEDs on the bottom for downlighting, distinguishing it from the standard Climax Duo which relies entirely on Light Tape. It is specifically designed for illuminating large areas that feature stadium seating
